Zoe Ungerman

Welcome—I'm so glad you're here.
Choosing a therapist is a big step, and finding someone who truly sees and understands you can make all the difference. I offer a warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth approach to therapy, where you're not just a diagnosis or a problem to solve—you're a whole person with a unique story.
I specialize in working with adults and young adults who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, trauma, emotional dysregulation, ADHD, and substance use. If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of where to begin—know that you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Therapy with me is a space where you can breathe. Together, we’ll uncover the strengths you may not even realize you have, shift self-critical narratives, and help you feel more grounded, free, and at peace. I incorporate humor, creativity, and compassion to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can show up as your full self—messy parts and all.
I believe healing happens when we feel truly seen and accepted. Many of us weren’t shown how to love or accept ourselves growing up—and that’s okay. This work is about learning, unlearning, and growing in a way that’s authentic to you. It doesn’t have to be perfect. We’ll figure it out together.
Our relationship is the foundation of everything we’ll do. In our first few sessions, I’ll take time to get to know you—your goals, your challenges, and what you want out of therapy. I’ll meet you where you are and tailor our work using evidence-based practices like mindfulness, DBT skills, psychoanalysis, strengths-based techniques, and person-centered care.
Whether you're here to work through something specific or you’re just beginning to explore what therapy might offer, I’m here to support you with curiosity, care, and zero judgment. You deserve to feel supported and empowered—exactly as you are. Let’s take the next step together.
